Visitors from MN to New Castle and other things....

Visitors... yea! It's about time we had some visitors out here... Melissa and Greg came out for a long weekend, and I'd say we all had quite a good time.

On Thursday we drove up behind New Castle to the flat top area, Greg and I rode in the vehicle up, and rode the mountain bikes all the way down 2,000 vertical feet of Cherry Creek Trail.

Melissa and Callie took a nice walk up top with Kenya, the colors are really changing nicely now.

The 'real' reason Melissa came out was to compete in the 1/2 marathon of Glenwood Canyon with Callie.... they both finished and did great!

Greg andI took a trip up to Sunlight Mt. near Glenwood for a nice bike through the meadow while the girls ran their butts off.
After all that... we had earned some well deserved time in the Hot Springs Pool... ahhh so nice...

Besides the goofy smell from all the minerals the pool was a good time.
No Resting for us... so the next chilly morning we drove up to Aspen and took a nice stroll around the Maroon Bells, and yep that is fresh snow!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

What a nice time with the family... we miss you guys already!

This is a neat pic of half the Aspens being orange... and the other half still green...
After Melissa and Greg left Callie decided it was finally time to chop the hair off... and that she did!
On the mornign of Saturday Oct. 13th, we decided to head over the the 'world reknown' mt. bike trails of Fruita (about an 1 hr 15mn drive West), this place is passing up Moab as the Mt. Biking destination of the world... We had a good time minus a few bumps and bruises on Callie! She's recovering well...
just a little airtime...

Owwwwiieeee!

Take care everyone we hope to hear from ya soon!
