Check out Shawn White. This was a once in a life time experience. This guy is amazing!
On January 12th, on a cold blizzard morning I slid on the road and bumped the guard rail in New Castle. This was my first run in with the local police. Needless to say, during the hour that it took the police officer to take measurements with a wheel thing, a tape measurer (which he had me hold), fake measurements with his hands, and eventually take pictures-- he proceeded to inform Andrew that I was getting a careless driving ticket, and then gave me a speeding ticket. The only damage done was the spray paint that he used to mark the rail. I am protesting this ticket on Feb 12th. Wish me luck! Yes, this is our new cross country area as the sun is setting. Quite spectacular!

We had a great time in Minnesota but we were very excited to get back and take advantage of the great snow! We both found a great deal on snowshoes and have tackled some difficult hikes. We also have tried out the local's resort (Sunlight Mountain) twice.

New Years was fun as we spent it with Dave and Nikki at their house in Minneapolis. It was good to spend some time relaxing with friends.
Christmas Day was a relaxing day for dogs and people. We enjoyed some cross-country skiing with the Urban's on a little snow that we found on a lake.

We were excited for Christmas Break as our school was closed for two days because of a strong sewer smell (which is currently just as strong as when we left). We drove 22 hours through winter storms and wind to celebrate Christmas Eve with the Gospeter family. We had a great time catching up and introducing Kenya to the Gospeter clan of dogs.
